Scope of project:
Kingston Joinery was selected to provide a joinery package for the £18.6m redevelopment of Hessle High School at its upper school site in Heads Lane, as part of the multi-million pound redevelopments of schools in Hull and the East Riding under the national Priority School Building Programme.
The school was previously split over 2 sites and has 1,450 students. The redevelopment was on one site, providing new science labs, ICT and teaching areas and sports facilities for up to 1,550 pupils, including 230 students in the sixth form.
Our Role and Expertise:
A team of eight joiners from Kingston Joinery were employed on this job, which was completed to tight deadlines over a four month period, to complete the installation of internal doorsets, ironmongery, glazed screens, and general joinery and timber flat roof carcasses.
